Ainan Cawley is a Singaporean child prodigy who was born on the 26th of November 1999. He is the son of Fintan Cawley, an Irishman, and Silvana Annovazzi, an Italian woman. Ainan began speaking at six months old and reading fluently by eighteen months. At the age of two, he could already write poetry and short stories. By the time he turned four, he had mastered basic chemistry and by age seven, he had passed the chemistry O-level exam. In 2007, at the age of seven years and eleven months, he became the youngest person ever to pass the Mensa IQ test.
Ainan has continued to excel in his studies and has since gone on to achieve many other impressive feats. In 2010, he enrolled in Singapore Polytechnic to study for a diploma in Bioscience and Biomedical Science. He graduated top of his cohort in 2013 with a perfect score of 4.0 GPA. After graduation, he worked as a research assistant in a medical laboratory where he helped develop new cancer treatments. In 2016, he enrolled in medical school at Imperial College London on a full scholarship. He is currently in his third year of studies and is expected to graduate in 2020.
