Donald Trump was born on June 14, 1946, in New York City. Trump's father, Fred, was a successful real estate developer who specialized in building middle-income housing in the New York boroughs of Queens and Brooklyn. Trump's mother, Mary, was a homemaker. Trump has four siblings: two brothers, Frederick and Robert; and two sisters, Elizabeth and Maryanne.
Trump was raised in the Queens borough of New York City and attended the Kew-Forest School from kindergarten through seventh grade. He then transferred to the New York Military Academy, where he earned good grades and played football and baseball. After graduating from high school in 1964, Trump attended Fordham University for two years before transferring to the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics in 1968.
